It is with great sadness that I have to announce the Death of one of our respected Past Maters:

 

W. Bro. James Whitaker, PPrJGW

 

 

 

Jim was initiated into Borough Lodge No.424

and became a joining member of Gateshead Fell Lodge on 15^th October 2002.

He was installed into the chair of this Lodge in September 2005

and in June 2006 he was appointed to the rank of  PPGReg and promoted in 2015 to PPJGW.

 

Jim has been Charity Steward of this Lodge since 2009

and served as the Lodge Treasurer since November 2013.

 

He was a good ritualist, a true gentleman with a great sense of humor,

 very well respected by all who knew him, and will be affectionately remembered and sadly missed

 

  

Jim passed away  on Thursday 13th November 2017 aged 75 years.

 

 

Please remember Jim, and think of him in your prayers.
