It is with great sadness that I have to announce
the Death of one of our respected Past Maters:
W. Bro. Edward Gardner Parker,
PPJGD
Eddy was initiated in Gateshead Fell Lodge on 20th December 1988,
Passed
on 17th January 1989 and Raised on the 21st March 1989
He
was installed into the chair of this Lodge in September 1995,
and
in 2002 he was appointed to the rank of PPJGD
Eddy served as the Lodge Treasurer for many years,
only giving up
when arthritis in his hands made it difficult for him to continue.
He
a very regular attendee of the Lodge
and was very
well respected by all who knew him,
he
will be affectionately remembered and sadly missed.
Eddy passed away on Tuesday 31st March
2015 aged 77 years.
Please remember Eddy, and think of him in
your prayers.
