It is with great sadness that I have to announce
the Death of one of our respected Past Maters:
W. Bro. Gilbert Gardner,
PPrAGDC
Gilbert was initiated in Gateshead Fell Lodge on 28th November
1978,
Passed
on 27th February 1979 and Raised on the 24th April 1979
He
was appointed to the rank of P.P.G. Steward in 1984,
Installed into the chair of this Lodge in September 1986.
and
was and promoted to PPAGDC in 1996.
Gilbert was a very regular attendee of the Lodge until his ill health
prevented his attendance
and
he became a resident at Scarbourgh Court.
He was well
respected by all who knew him,
he
will be affectionately remembered and greatly missed.
Gilbert passed away on Monday 19th March
2012 aged 94 years.
Please remember Gilbert, and think of him in
your prayers.
